About Me
My Background
I am a self-taught artist who enjoy various form of Art and Design. Mainly paintings.
Throughout my journey discovering my calling, I have explored many different styles of paintings to enrich my very own style. I have studied the human figure, realism, abstraction, and so on. I learn more each day and have discovered that life and experience is the best teacher.
I love all colors from volatile reds, eccentric golds to cool blues and mellow greys. Each time I create a new piece, I let my emotion guide me channeling the object and condition onto the canvas, in the hopes that each observer will have a similar universal experience. Thank you.
My Medium
My technique in creating Art is a unique blend of utilizing mixed media, oil, acrylic, charcoal, gesso, inks, even watercolor paired with brush strokes or pallet knives technique. I like any spontaneous way to create arts. My favorite medium to use is acrylic paint due to its flexibility and durability. The light texture can be achieved by mixing acrylic paint with other solution such as thinner or even water, as it mimics the water color as well as the heavy bold texture for intensity and density as desired.
My Inspiration
I love to travel. When visiting a new spot, I always go to the museums and art district area to explore. As it gives me so much inspiration for my next project. Learning from other artist is very beneficial to enrich and expand my ability to create a new thing. I have visited several famous museums such as; Guggenheim, MOMA, Indian Art Museum, and other local painting museum and art and design district near where I live.
